Art is just stories of our every day life coming to life. Actors, Dancers, Musicians, Performers, the list is endless. Art in motion is a phrase which would best suit this profession. It is a medium to express your emotions through movement of the limbs, the sound of your vocal cords, or just though as simple as the twitch of an eyebrow. Matching the rhythm of sound to your movements to bring alive stories, emotions and make people feel is an art of the highest order and not easy to achieve. They usually have jobs as either performers themselves, solo or part of a group to perform in film, television, theatre and / or music videos. Years in each skill involves spending large amount of time trying to perfect a certain category/genre of their specialised art while dabbling in various forms to create something entirely new.
the career prospects for those who wish to pursue their passion in the arts are many. Spread your wings and fly wherever they take you!
1. Dancer- if your body immediately instinctively starts swaying to the beat; then this is the career for you. but being a dancer is not just dancing anywhere any time. but the management of various aspects of shows, people management and giving your spectators the time of their lives!
2. Actors- the expression of a story through characters is how mankind has evolved over the years. Stories have been told through the forms of movement and expressions.
3. Musicians- Are you interested in the collaboration of various sounds to create your own sound? Have you already learnt an instrument as a child and wished to pursue it further? Or do you wish to learn an instrument to create your own sound? Do you listen to songs and concentrate on the background music and not the lyrics? Then being a musician could be the right choice for you! Music does not have to be just a lifelong passion, it can be made a career as well- with dedication, passion and willingness to work hard.
